Leo
Reisman
The Leo Reisman orchestra was a strong part of the music scene through the twenties, thirties and forties. Regarded as a major leader among the "sweet" bands, he presented music with brilliant arrangements and the finest vocalists, including Fred Astaire and Lee Wiley. The two dozen tracks on this CD have never before been on CD, and present new songs of the time that have since become classics. Just listen to the title song - brilliant - which word could describe so many of these recordings.
