Rodgers and Hammerstein's 1953 musical ME AND JULIET tells a backstage story of the theatre. It is a much neglected piece, but it has the most charming score, with a string of good songs, all finely performed by an excellent cast. Its best known song, "No Other Love", was a hit for more than one singer of the time, including Perry Como in the USA and Ronnie Hilton in the UK. This
original cast recording has been out of print for some time, and Flare is proud to make it available again, after the most careful digital remastering, which has restored the sound to its inherent brilliance.
