Most of these recordings have never been released on CD before; indeed many of them were never previously available at all to the general record-buyer. Here they are now - twenty-four superb tracks by the one and only Peggy Lee, when she was at the height of her powers. Most of the numbers were recorded with small groups, allowing the vocalist to sing simply in her own very intimate style. And what treasures are here - so many great songs not usually associated with her. So we have wonderful versions of the brilliant Fools Rush In, Rodgers and Hammerstein's We Kiss in a Shadow, My Future Just Passed, Let's Call it a Day, Try a Little Tenderness...many more.
