Lola Albright, beautiful American leading lady of movies and television through the fifties and sixties, is presented here in a new CD release featuring her two very fine LPs – “Lola Wants You” and “Dreamsville”. Two dozen great songs for the late hours, orchestrated by Dean Elliott and Henry Mancini, and delivered by Ms Albright in the relaxed, soft-voiced and intimate style that helped gain for her the Emmy Award-winning role of Edie Hart, the nightclub singer in the iconic TV series “Peter Gunn”.
