Larry Clinton was one of the most talented musicians of the swing/jazz era of the thirties and forties, regularly topping the hit parade with his imaginative Big Band arrangements. This CD presents his very fine 1950s album LARRY CLINTON IN HI FI, in which he revisits some of his greatest hits. Bonus tracks present recordings from his later mood album SONGS FOR TIRED GOLFERS, plus two rare recordings from the Bell Record Company.
