Patrice
Munsel
was
the
youngest
prima
donna
ever
to
star
at
the
Metropolitan
Opera,
and
has
followed
a
most
successful
career
since
in
a
variety
of
roles
and
aspects
of
the
media.
Here
she
is
heard
in
recordings
taken
from
two
of
her
early
LPs
-
one
a
programme
of
beautiful
classic
songs, accompanied
by
the
Al
Goodman
orchestra,
and
large
choir
-
and
the
other
of
soundtrack
recordings
made
for
the
film
"Melba"
in
which
she
starred
as
the
famous
Australian
soprano.

collection
is
not
to
be
