This very attractive CD release from Flare presents the original cast recordings from "Ruggles of Red Gap", the superb musical written for the prestigious "Producers' Showcase production, transmitted on NBC in 1957. With a stunning score by Jule Styne and Leo Robin, it starred Michael Redgrave, Jane Powell, Peter Lawford, David Wayne and Imogene Coca. Bonus tracks feature Jane Powell in solos and duets, including a soundtrack recording from her other TV musical, "Feathertop".
