Hastings and St. Leonards
Observer
"...When
Melanie Stace appears on stage everything else -scenery, orchestra even
supporting cast vanish. That such singing and dancing talent should be
poured into so perfect a body implies celestial nepotism on a grand scale.
Forget Sydney Smith's eating Foie gras to the sound of trumpets, paradise
for me would be sipping Sancerre whilst Stace in a swimsuit serenaded me
with Sondheim."
